About the Swifts

The NSW Swifts are one of the biggest names in club netball, with a rich history that has firmly established them as a powerhouse in Australian sport. They've been at the top of the game for over 20 years, and as a foundation club of Australia's first national netball league, they’ve always set the bar high. Before the trans-Tasman league even began in 2008, the Swifts had already clinched four titles.

When the ANZ Championship launched, the Swifts didn’t miss a beat, taking out the inaugural title. Throughout nine seasons in the trans-Tasman league, the Swifts maintained their reputation for excellence, reaching back-to-back grand finals in the final two years of the competition.

In 2019, as underdogs, they defied the odds and claimed their first Suncorp Super Netball premiership, followed by another in 2021. With seven titles to their name, the Swifts are now eyeing an eighth. Will 2025 be their year? Only time will tell, but you can bet they’ll be in the hunt.
