Coaching

Want to coach netball?

Starting your coaching journey is simple. Just get in touch with your State or Territory member organisation and they’ll guide you through the training process and put you in touch with local clubs. You don’t need any professional qualifications to get started. Just bring a great attitude.

Coach Development Program Review and Refresh - Have your Say

A review of the National Coach Development Framework is now underway, with a strong focus on community-level coaching, while maintaining sight of high-performance coaching environments.

The outcomes of the review will guide a refreshed National Coach Development Framework, modernising NA’s and NA State and Territory Member Organisations’ approach to coach development, enabling the sport to enhance how it recruits, trains, supports and retain a world-leading netball coaching workforce that delivers the right type of coaching, by the right coach, in the right environment, at the right time.

A survey has been developed to gather feedback from coaches who hold NA ADVANCED, ELITE or HIGH-PERFORMANCE coach accreditation and/or are currently coaching in one or more of the following environments;

  • State League/Premier League

  • Super Netball Reserves

  • Super Netball

  • 17&U, 19&U Nationals

If this is you, we strongly encourage you to have your say and contribute to this important project. Your insights and experiences will significantly shape the future of coach development in Australian netball.
