About the Vixens
The Melbourne Vixens, Netball Victoria鈥檚 representative team in the Suncorp Super Netball League, pride themselves on being a strong club with a proud history of success. Established in 2008 following the amalgamation of the Melbourne Phoenix and Melbourne Kestrels netball clubs, the Vixens claimed premiership titles in 2009 and 2014 as part of the former national league. The Vixens claimed the club's first premiership in Suncorp Super Netball in 2020, they lost Grand Finals in 2022 and 2024 before taking the crown in 2025. The 2025 premiership a fitting end to the 13-year tenure of head coach Simone McKinnis.
