States and territories from around the country have announced their 17/U and 19/U team lists ahead of the 2022 National Netball Championships in Hobart this April.
Taking place from 19-24 April at the Hobart Netball and Sports Centre, the Championships will see 192 athletes compete in the milestone event following its cancellation in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

These athletes, ranging from 15 to 19 years old, encapsulate Australia’s emerging netball talent who have the potential to drive the future direction of netball at an elite level.
After two years without national competition for the majority competing, upcoming talent is set to be identified across the six days of fast-paced and highly skilled netball.
Several 2022 Suncorp Super Netball training partners have been named for their respective states and territories ahead of the National Netball Championships.
There is set to be a spectacle of talent with 14 athletes from the 2021/22 Australian 19/U National Squad and over 20 athletes from the 2021/22 Australian 17/U National Squad named for the Hobart series.
Additionally, Charli Fidler (GIANTS Netball), Erin O’Brien (GIANTS Netball), Millie Roach (GIANTS Netball), Sophie Fawns (NSW Swifts) and Audrey Little (NSW Swifts) will compete for New South Wales. Ava Black (Sunshine Coast Lightning) and Ashleigh Ervin (Queensland Firebirds) for Queensland, Emily Andrew (Melbourne Vixens) from Victoria and Ruth Aryang (West Coast Fever) from Western Australia are also sure to shine across the events’ duration.
The fixture for the National Netball Championships includes an array of back-to-back competition for the netball community, serving up 72 games featuring rising stars from across the country.
