Like the rest of us, the Melbourne Vixens' goal shooter is adjusting to the new reality of life at home.
With no access to the gym or the court, Suncorp Super Netball athletes have been tasked with staying match-fit, since it's impossible to predict when we might see them out on the hardwood again.
We caught up with the former Australian Diamond to see how she plans to stay active and ready to hit the ground running when the season resumes.
How do you like to keep active at home?
As someone who usually only has a 10 metre box to run in, going out for a run is not my most favourite thing to do... but I do it when I have to. I really love being in the gym so at the moment I am super grateful to have borrowed some equipment from the Victoria Institute of Sport (VIS) for my little at-home gym!
Three tips to getting active from home?
- Use what you have! A couple of stairs can be used for step ups, dips, push ups, squats!
- Be creative, set up a circuit and pump up the music!
- Pair up with an accountability buddy! That is what I love about being part of a team, you all do it together and you don't want to let each other down. So while we are all isolating... set up a session time with a friend on Skype to keep you accountable!

What’s your day on a plate look like?
This year, each week I have been planning out the whole weeks menu, doing a big shop and meal prep on a Sunday to set us up for a week of healthy eating... it has helped with the organisation a lot!
Brekky: Coffee and a banana when we start at 6am then something more substantial after training like muesli, yoghurt and berries.
Lunch: Can look different... sometimes its last nights left overs, or it could be a sandwich from the cafe at Uni.
Dinner: San Choy Bau, Salmon, Salads... ect. I love cooking and keep a big variety in dinner options!!
Snacks: Fruit, nuts, Up and Go, (or a cheeky banana bread!)
Top five work out songs:
Thelma Plum- Better in Black
Sofi Tucker - Swing
Gang of Youths- The deepest sighs, the frankest shadows
Cub Sport - Sometimes
Rufus du Sol- Underwater
