Swifts midcourter Paige Hadley and former Diamonds captain Clare Ferguson were at St Ursula’s Fatima Netball Club over the weekend to meet our Suncorp NetSetGO term three winners.
Located in the Southern Sydney suburb of Kingsgrove, the club has become one of the largest affiliations to the St George District Netball Association. Focusing on family and community, the club continues to provide young aspiring netballers the opportunity to learn and grow since its establishment in 1976.
St Ursula’s were recognised for their encouragement of kids to progress through each tier whilst developing their skills and having fun.
Former Australian representative Clare Ferguson and NSW Swifts star Paige Hadley visited the wining club over the weekend to run through a clinic of skill-based activities for the kids in the introductory program.
“We had a lovely morning celebrating the efforts of the St Ursula’s netball club in creating a fun and inclusive environment for their netballers of the future,” said Ferguson.
“Paige and I really felt the positivity and excitement around the club – you could tell that every person involved in the NetSetGO centre just really enjoys being a part of it.”
In-between session the eager little netballers were able to grab autographs, photos and make #TeamGirls bag tags with their idols.
