Netball Nation will bring together the rookies and the pros, the volunteers, the parents, the sideline supporters and the support staff to a community that they feel pride in, a community that is more important today than ever before.
From the bushfires that ravaged parts of Australia in summer to the effects of the global pandemic, it has been a challenging year in which we have all been affected. But in among these challenges, one of the bright lights has been the strength of the netball community.
Netball Australia Executive General Manager of Media Spencer Retallack said Netball Nation has been launched to connect, engage and celebrate all people, places and spaces that make up netball in Australia.
“Netball Australia has seen an opportunity to unify the entire Australian netball community and bring people together through a powerful and visual storytelling platform. Netball Nation is a coming together of all the wonderful and different parts of our community to showcase the incredible spirit and the love we all feel for netball and the people involved in it,” he said.
“We also understand customer engagement and consumption is shifting. We need to be looking at ways we can unify and galvanise the culture of the game and Netball Nation will allow us to better serve our customers. It will create more meaningful relationships that allow us to connect customers who play, watch and subscribe across the entire netball ecosystem.”
