Netball Australia's Chief Medical Officer and Origin Diamonds Doctor Laura Lallenec has joined the World Netball Medical Advisory Panel (MAP).
The Panel is chaired by Professor Christa Janse van Rensburg and is responsible for advising the World Netball CEO and Board on medical and health and wellbeing issues.
It will also work with them to support the development and implementation of agreed priorities in the Strategic Plan.
Dr Lallenec is the Origin Diamonds team doctor and works as a sports and exercise physician in Australia.
She is also a medical advisor for Sport Integrity Australia.
"I am delighted and feel very privileged to join the World Netball Medical Advisory Panel. I am passionate about both netball and sports medicine and hope to contribute meaningfully to policy development particularly in the areas of concussion, anti-doping and mental health," she said.
Dr Lallenec joins Professor Christa Janse van Rensburg and members Sharon Kearney and Janet Young.
