NetFest Player FAQ’s

Entry & Player Eligibility

Yes. A player can register in two or three different teams, provided that the competitions are different and schedules of the competitions do not clash. For example, a female player can play in a female only and a mixed competition. A female player cannot play in two female competitions even in different divisions.

Registration closing dates are enforced to provide the Tournament Manager time to grade and create the fixtures for each competition. Depending how long after the registration close date a player requests to enter a team, the request may be facilitated at the discretion of the Tournament Manager.

Late registration of a team is heavily dependent on whether there are any positions available in the section the team wishes to enter. The final decision will be made by the Tournament Manager on whether a late team will be accepted.

Enter a team by visiting netfest.com.au select the competition you wish to enter;

 - Outdoor – Female Competitive / Female Social / Mixed
 - Beach – Female / Mixed
 - Fast5 – Female / Mixed

You will need your login details to proceed.

If you don’t have login details simply click “don’t have login id” and the system will create these for you.

You must register at least 5 players at the time of registering a team.

There are no grading matches at NetFest so please provide accurate information on your team so the Tournament Manager has all the information required to be able to grade your team appropriately.

Yes. Teams need to contact the Tournament Manager to remove a player and add another please email your request to info@netfest.com.au

A team name can only be changed prior to registrations closing. You can change your team name in your MyNetball account. New teams or teams returning but wanting to change their name must contact the Tournament Manager at info@netfest.com.au to ensure the name is not already taken.

The registration system in MyNetball requires the Team Manager, upon team entry, to pay the full cost of the team. When individual team members register thereafter, there is no fee payable by them.

Please contact NetFest info@netfest.com.au if your team wishes to cancel their registration. Cancellation and refunds are at the discretion of the Tournament Manager. Refunds will not be granted after registrations have closed.

Outdoor Competition – 8 – 10 matches (does not include finals)

You won’t be required to be at the courts all day. You will play a morning session one day and an afternoon session on the other day. This gives your team the flexibility to visit the beautiful Sunshine Coast when you aren’t at the netty courts.

If your team has previously played at NetFest, the history of the team will be taken into consideration along with new or returning players.

If your team is new to NetFest, please provide us with as much information as possible on your team including do you play regularly together, the number of years the players have played netball, as well as the current competition the team plays in.

Once grading is complete and the fixtures have been released it is very difficult for the Tournament Manager to move teams.

If the players in your team have changed and you strongly believe it has affected the strength of your team. Please contact NetFest info@netfest.com.au to discuss the matter. We cannot guarantee that changes will be made, but of course we want NetFest to be enjoyable for all.

We anticipate the fixtures will be ready for release around 17 November. You will be notified when they are released.
