The 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season was the most attended season of Australian women’s sport, with a final total attendance of 366,222.
It marked the biggest season in the league’s history, with 34,381 fans flocking to the Finals Series after a home and away attendance of 331,841.
Suncorp Super Netball also attracted the highest average crowd in Australian women’s sport, with an average of 6,097 fans attending each match – up from 5,069 in 2023.
The Adelaide Thunderbirds won back-to-back premierships in front of a full house of 9,694 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre tonight, defeating the Melbourne Vixens 59-57. It marks the third consecutive year the Grand Final has sold out.
With a record 709 Suncorp Super Shots scored in 2024, Suncorp will be donating more than $70,000 to the Confident Girls Foundation – supporting programs to enable disadvantaged girls to thrive through netball. Suncorp donates $100 for every successful Super Shot scored throughout the Suncorp Super Netball season to the Confident Girls Foundation.
