Ward stays in Sydney
August 28
The Sydney Sirens have named their fifth 2027 signing in Jamaican Sunshine Girl Jodi-Ann Ward, formerly of the GIANTS.
"I'm really excited to continue my journey with this club and be part of what's next as we become the Sydney Sirens," Ward said.
"When I first arrived in Sydney, I was stepping into a new environment, but the club and the people around it made me feel welcome from day one. Sydney has become a real home away from home and I've built relationships that mean a lot to me.
"The support I've received throughout my time here, particularly during my rehabilitation, is something I'll always be grateful for. It reinforced just how special this group is and how much I wanted to continue being part of it."
Heffernan returns to Thunderbirds

Midcourter Kate Heffernan has signed with the Tbirds for two more years, completing the club's 2027 list in the process.
“Kate’s impact on this group was immediate, both on and off the court,” head coach Tania Obst said.
“She brings incredible drive, determination and experience, and is a natural leader.
“She slotted into our environment seamlessly and we’re excited to continue what we started.”
Reuelu-Buchanan a Vixen
August 27
Versatile New Zealand midcourter Mila Reuelu-Buchanan has joined the Melbourne Vixens for 2027.
“Mila is a quality international midcourter who plays with great energy, speed and intent,” head coach Di Honey said.
“She has performed strongly in New Zealand’s domestic competition and on the international stage, and we believe her competitiveness and versatility will be a great fit for us.”
“She brings a different style and perspective into our midcourt, and we’re looking forward to seeing her connect with the group, embrace our environment and contribute to the standards we want to keep driving at the Vixens.”
Beckford returns
August 27
Goal attack Shanice Beckford will return to West Coast Fever in 2027.
“The energy of the fans, the culture within the club, and the standard of excellence here are second to none. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to put on the green dress again in 2027,” Beckford said.
“Perth has always held a special place in my heart, and stepping back onto the court with West Coast Fever is an absolute privilege. I’m coming back with even more hunger, experience, and drive to help this team chase success.
“The Green Army is one of the best fanbases in netball, and I am so grateful for this opportunity again. I can’t wait to feel that energy at RAC Arena again in 2027.”
van der Berg remains a Tbird

Elmeré van der Berg has re-signed with the Adelaide Thunderbirds for two more seasons after an outstanding first season in pink.
“We knew what Elmeré had to offer when we recruited her for 2026 and her growth across the season has been phenomenal,” head coach Tania Obst said.
“She’s an incredible target with great aerial ability, diverse movement and the capacity to shoot from anywhere.
“She’s brought a lot to this group both on and off the court and we look forward to continuing to work together in 2027 and 2028.”
Walmsley to Vixens

Young New Zealand goaler Amelia Walmsley has accepted a contract with the Melbourne Vixens.
“I’m so grateful for this incredible opportunity. I know I’m going to be challenged in ways I’ve never been challenged before, and I’m really looking forward to embracing that,” Walmsley said.
“To compete in the best league and immerse myself in an environment with such a strong history of success is so exciting.
"I can’t wait to learn from and be surrounded by such amazing players and coaching staff. I’m really looking forward to seeing what I can contribute to the Vixens and, ultimately, what we can achieve together.”
Nweke switches allegiance

New Zealand goal shooter Grace Nweke has announced her next venture, joining new club Sydney Sirens for 2027.
"Grace is one of the premier athletes in world netball and securing her signature is a landmark moment for our club," head coach Nerida Stewart said.
"We also know firsthand the impact Grace has had in Super Netball over the past two seasons with the Swifts. She's become one of the most influential players in the competition and someone opposition teams must plan for every single week.
"What excites us most is that Grace's impact goes beyond her talent on court. It was clear throughout our conversations that she genuinely believes in what we're building and wants to help shape it."
Garrett a Swift

Australian Diamonds defender Matilda Garrett is heading to the NSW Swifts for 2027, completing the list ahead of next season.
“Matilda is a fantastic addition to our group and someone we’ve admired for a long time,” head coach Dylan Nexhip said.
“She has proven herself at the highest level, she’s a three-time Premiership player and an Australian Diamond, so she knows what it takes to perform and win in this competition.
“What continues to stand out about Matilda is the way she has evolved her game. Her work rate is immense, and she has shown she can match it with any goal attack in the world. She brings a real competitiveness and intensity to every contest.
“Sshe understands what it means to be part of a successful team. Her discipline, commitment to high performance and willingness to continually challenge herself are qualities we value, but it’s also the growth she has made as a person that makes her such an asset to our group.
“Matilda is still hungry to improve, and we know the experience, standards and intent she brings will have a significant impact on our group. We want her to set the tone for what our defensive unit looks like in 2027 and help drive those around her to be better every day.

Dehaney re-signs with Fever

Defender Kadie-Ann Dehaney has re-signed with West Coast Fever for 2027.
“Not having the ability to win a premiership is one thing but knowing we have it and haven’t quite achieved what we’re capable of has been weighing on me,” she said.
“The opportunity to go all the way with this defensive group is something I'm genuinely excited about. We know what we’re capable of, and I truly believe there’s something special ahead of us.
“Returning was always the goal. To compete alongside this group and play in front of the biggest, loudest and most supportive crowd in the competition is an opportunity I am excited to embrace.”
Jovic to Sirens

Midcourter Molly Jovic will make her return to Super Netball in 2027, signing with the newly branded Sydney Sirens.
"Molly is exactly the type of person you want helping set the tone in a new environment," head coach Nerida Stewart said.
"She's an experienced Super Netball player, an outstanding leader and someone who understands what it takes to build strong connections and standards within a playing group.
"Her rise over the past few seasons has been impressive. To see her recognised as Club Champion in 2025 speaks to both her consistency and the impact she has on those around her.
"Molly brings a wealth of experience from both Collingwood and the Mavs, but just as importantly she brings a genuine enthusiasm for what we're creating here at the Sirens.

Grenvold returns to Mavs

Defender Jessie Grenvold finalises the Melbourne Mavericks' list for 2027, rounding out the contracted 10 after multiple years in the program.
"This club has given me incredible opportunities and helped me grow so much as a player and person," Grenvold said.
"To go from training partner, to 11th player, to earning a full contract and then having the season we had as a group last year has been pretty special.
"We've built something that everyone is really proud of and I genuinely believe there's still so much more ahead for us. I'm excited to continue that journey with this club and this playing group."

Graham a Firebird

Victorian product Lily Graham has signed with the Queensland Firebirds, finalising the club's list ahead of 2027.
“Lily is one of the most exciting young shooters in Australia and we're thrilled to bring her into the Purple Family,” head coach Kiri Wills said.
“Her ability to play both positions in the shooting circle, her fearlessness with the Super Shot, and the composure she's already shown on the big stage at World Youth Cup level make her a fantastic long-term prospect for this club.

Visser returns to Tbirds

South African defender Sanmarie Visser will return to the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2027, after a brief 2025 replacement player stint.
“Sanna joined us in 2025 and brought a great work ethic and positive attitude into our environment,” head coach Tania Obst said.
“She’s an exciting young talent and she’ll add another layer of versatility to our list.
“We look forward to having a full pre-season together and seeing her development continue in Super Netball.”

Three-time Thunderbirds premiership player Tayla Williams has joined the Vixens for 2027.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the Vixens,” Williams said.
“To be able to work with and learn from so many experienced athletes at a club with a rich history of success is incredibly exciting.
“I’m looking forward to a new challenge and getting to work for the 2027 season.”
Zoe Cransberg elevated
August 25
Midcourter Zoe Cransberg has received her first formal contract with the Fever after multiple seasons as a training partner and injury replacement player.
“Zoe has demonstrated continuous improvement throughout her time at the Club, and we know she is only getting better,” West Coast Fever General Manager Sara Francis-Bayman said.
“Zoe’s work ethic is exceptional, and the consistency and composure she brings to her game are beyond her years. We see her playing a really important role for our team moving forward.”

Stythe to Vixens

Silver Ferns defender Caris Stythe has signed with the Melbourne Vixens for 2027.
“Carys is an exciting young defender with genuine presence, athleticism and a strong appetite to keep learning,” Vixens head coach Di Honey said.
“She brings international experience, championship pedigree from New Zealand and the versatility to impact across both defensive circle positions. We think she will be a great fit for our environment and the way we want to play.”
Poi returns to Super Netball

New Zealand Silver Fern Kimiora Poi will return to SN in 2027 after signing with the Queensland Firebirds.
“Being able to play in the best competition in the world is a real privilege, and it’s something I’m incredibly excited about,” Poi said.
“The Firebirds have such a rich history, and I can’t wait to meet everyone, get stuck in and be part of what’s ahead.”
Swifts sign Cransberg

Former Fever defender Jordan Cransberg is returning to the east coast, signing with the NSW Swifts for 2027.
“Jordan has continued to grow into a really impressive Super Netball player and we’ve been watching her progression closely,” head coach Dylan Nexhip said.
“She brings great speed and energy to the midcourt, she works incredibly hard and she has the ability to transition quickly from defence into attack.
“What really stood out to us throughout the recruitment process was Jordan’s values, her commitment to high performance and her drive to keep improving."
Orr signs with Mavs

South Australian product Tyler Orr has signed her first official SN contract after two successful seasons with the London Pulse in the Netball Super League.
"I'm incredibly excited to be joining the Mavs and returning to Australia after two amazing seasons with Pulse," Orr said.
"My time overseas helped me grow enormously both as a player and as a person. Having the opportunity to play consistent netball, experience success, and challenge myself in a different environment has been invaluable.
"I'm really looking forward to bringing those experiences into this group and contributing however I can."
Dwyer a Siren

Sophie Dwyer has been announced as the Sydney Sirens' second recruit ahead of the club's debut season in 2027.
"The transition to the Sydney Sirens is really exciting because it gives us the opportunity to build on everything that's been created over the past decade while embracing a new future," Dwyer said.
"We're not starting from scratch - we're carrying forward the legacy, the people and the values that have made this club so special, while creating a new identity that reflects where we're heading.

Shearer returns to Firebirds

Young defender Isabelle Shearer has re-signed with the Queensland Firebirds.
"Isabelle has been an outstanding team-first player and a real credit to herself throughout her time in our program," head coach Kiri Wills said.
"She is a superb prospect for netball in Queensland and Australia given her height but where Isabelle has an edge is her strength, athleticism and engine. Not many players her size can put out the repeat efforts she does.
“Giz is a great person to work with. She is coachable and responds well to direction and we look forward to her continuing to grow and to giving us selection headaches in 2027.”
Cholhok a Swift

Mary Cholhok has signed with the NSW Swifts for 2027 after two years with the Queensland Firebirds.
“I feel ready for this next chapter of my career and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead with the Swifts," she said.
“The Swifts have such an incredible history and such a passionate supporter base, and I’m really looking forward to becoming part of that and getting to know everyone.
“I’m excited to bring the experience I’ve gained over the past two seasons, but I also know there is still so much for me to learn and achieve.
“I’m really looking forward to being in a new environment, challenging myself and continuing to grow as a player."
Graham returns to Thunderbirds

Young talent Kayla Graham has extended her time at the Thunderbirds after signing a two-year contract.
“Kayla adds a lot of versatility to our attack end with the ability to play across GA, GS and WA,” head coach Tania Obst said.
“She’s come through the South Australian pathway and continued to grow her game in our environment.
“We look forward to progressing her development and seeing her thrive.”
Eddy departs Vixens

Melbourne Vixens have confirmed Kate Eddy will depart the club moving forward.
Eddy said she is heartbroken by her departure.
“I am heartbroken that it has ended this way, but I will always be proud to have represented the Vixens, our members and the Victorian netball community," she said.
“The Vixens have been such an important part of my career and have felt like home over the past seven seasons. I’m incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together and grateful for the people who have supported me throughout my time at the club."
“We would have loved to have kept Kate Eddy playing for the Melbourne Vixens and are disappointed this isn’t the case," Netball Victoria CEO Andrea Pearman said.
"She has our deep gratitude for her contribution to this team and we are excited to support her in an off-court role at Netball Victoria while she continues to pursue her playing career.”

Young South Australian talent Lucy Voyvodic has earned her maiden full-time contract, signing to the NSW Swifts for 2027.
“Lucy is a really promising young midcourter who has continued to tick every box through the pathway and earn the opportunities that have come her way,” Swifts head coach Dylan Nexhip said.
“Her performances in the Super Netball Reserves showed she is one of the standout players coming through the pathway. She has earned her opportunity to play Super Netball and we’re really excited to see her take that next step.

Mannix departs Vixens

Defender Emily Mannix will depart the Melbourne Vixens will depart the club after over a decade.
“It has been an incredible 12 years at the Melbourne Vixens and to be part of such a special club has meant so much to me,” Mannix said.
“Being able to return to the court and play in front of my greatest achievement, my daughter Mabel, has been incredibly special.
"I hope my story shows young kids especially from country communities to dream big and that if you work hard and give it a crack, you never know where the game can take you.”

South Australian talent Sophie Casey has re-signed with the Thunderbirds for 2027 and 2028 after a successful season in the program.

Attacker Georgie Horjus has signed a two-year deal with the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

Ellis a Swift

NSW Swifts have signed a sixth player for the upcoming season with defender Rudi Ellis heading north.
“It feels pretty surreal to be coming back to Sydney and signing with the Swifts,” she said.
“The Swifts were a part of the beginning of my journey. I was a training partner back in 2017 and I was still figuring out what my career could look like, so to be coming full circle is really humbling.
“I feel like I’ve got a lot more to give to the game, and I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learnt over the past few years back to Sydney.”
Austin stays with Vixens

Key defender Ruby Bakewell-Doran has re-signed with the Queensland Firebirds.

“We've built a lot of core foundational work over the last two years with Kiri - and as a playing group - and there is something here that's just needed a little bit more time to hone in order for us to really thrive and get wins on the board for this club.

Sterling-Humphrey signs for three

Premiership co-captain Shamera Sterling-Humphrey has re-signed with the Adelaide Thunderbirds for three more years in a huge acquisition for the club.
“Shamera has undoubtably been among the league’s best defenders for many years now, leading the statistics across the competition,” head coach Tania Obst said.
“Her return to netball in 2026 was incredible, picking up where she left off before the birth of her son Xaihire last October.
“As co-captain, Shammy continued to step up in the leadership space, both on and off the court.
“We’re thrilled to continue working with her for another three seasons.”

Hannah Mundy has re-signed with the Melbourne Vixens for 2027.

“Her journey through the Victorian pathway is a great example of what our system can produce, and the way she continues to grow through every challenge says a lot about her character.

Caris goes north

Victorian defender Maggie Caris has earned her first official full-time contract with the Sunshine Coast Lightning after stints as a training partner, permanent replacement player and 11th player at the Vixens.
“Maggie is a really exciting prospect for us,” head coach Belinda Reynolds said.
“Being able to have her come into the set up and bring all her weapons gives us another dynamic look at the defensive end.
“We are really excited for Maggie to get to the Sunny Coast for 2027 and beyond.”
Gordon to Fever

New Zealand midcourter Maddy Gordon has landed at the West Coast Fever for 2027 after a season in purple.
“I’m so excited to join the West Coast Fever and take this opportunity to challenge myself, improve my game, and grow both as a player and as a person,” Gordon said.
“I’m really looking forward to learning from the coaches, experiencing the Aussie style of coaching, and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone.
“I think the roster we have is really exciting. Being able to feed someone like Jhaniele and play alongside Diamonds like Alice and Sunday is something I’m really looking forward to.”
Caris departs Vixens

Defender Maggie Caris has announced her departure from the Vixens, citing a fresh opportunity for 2027.
“Maggie has been an important part of our program for the past five years, and we’ve loved watching her grow into the player and person she is today,” Vixens head coach Di Honey said.

Koenen switches allegiance

Cara Koenen has revealed her new home for 2027 and beyond, with the Queensland Firebirds answering the call.
“To bring a player of Cara's experience and pedigree into our program is a huge coup for this club,” Firebirds head coach Kiri Wills said.
“She's a proven winner at every level – Super Netball premierships, Commonwealth Games gold, a World Cup title – and she does it all with elite movement, timing and composure in the circle.
“The fact she's a proud Queenslander makes this signing even more special, and we can't wait to see what she brings to our attacking end in 2027."
Turner and Swifts part ways

After 11 seasons and over 150 national league appearances, Swifts captain Maddy Turner will part ways with the NSW Swifts.
“When I made the move to Sydney over a decade ago, I never thought it would turn into the wonderful journey it has been,” Turner said.
“Many people will talk about the Grand Final wins, but for me every moment was one that I cherished. We won as a team, and we lost as a team, and that sisterhood is something that I cherish most of all.
“I will miss being part of the group on game day and running out in the Red Dress. I am not going to deny that will be hard when the time comes and I’m not there.
“But in time I won’t be sorry that it’s over, instead I’ll be glad that it happened. I will forever love the Swifts, and I will always be a Swift at heart.”
Thunderbirds mother-daughter arrives

Young South Australian star Jazmin McKay has earned her maiden contract at the club which her mother, Thunderbird #2 Sarah Sutter found her best form at.
“We’ve seen Jaz progress through the pathway and her many successes have been a testament to her talent and dedication to the sport,” head coach Tania Obst said.
“She has an impressive athletic ability combined with strong netball smarts, making her the perfect addition to our list for 2027.

GIANTS farewell Adamson

GIANTS Netball have formally farewelled rookie midcourter Casey Adamson who played 13 matches in her debut full-time season.
“When the opportunity came to join our program, Casey grabbed it with both hands,” former head coach Nerida Stewart said.
“She embraced every challenge throughout the season and worked incredibly hard to make the most of her first full Super Netball campaign.
“We thank Casey for her contribution and wish her every success for the future.”
Jovic departs Mavs

Foundation Maverick Molly Jovic will depart the club after confirming she has sought a contract elsewhere for 2027.
Head coach Gez Murphy said he's said to see the midcourter depart.
"Molly has one of the highest work ethics you will see, going about her business without complaint, always pushing and representing the Maverick spirit to the core," Murphy said.
"It is a bittersweet feeling - I coached Molly as a junior and I was looking forward to a full circle moment coaching her at Super Netball level.
"We would have loved to see Molly stay but we know this is the best thing for Molly and her family. We appreciate the effort and passion that Molly has brought to the Mavs and we wish her, Cameron and Billy nothing but the very best for their next chapter."
Anstiss heads east

Midcourter Jess Anstiss has swapped the west coast for the east, signing a 2027 deal with Sunshine Coast Lightning.
“Jess brings significant experience, strong leadership and consistency in performance that will be a great asset to our team in 2027,” head coach Belinda Reynolds said.
“Having worked with Jess at both West Coast Fever and through the WA pathway teams, I know firsthand how selfless she is and the impact she has on those around her.

Fran sticks with Fever

Reigning Stacey Marinkovich medalist Fran Williams has re-signed with Fever for two more years.
“It feels very special to be returning to Fever in 2027 and I am so excited to continue getting better with this Club,” she said.

Thunderbirds make first signing

Adelaide Thunderbirds have re-signed goal attack Lauren Frew for the 2027 season.
“Lauren’s grown a lot with us over the past three seasons and has proven her ability to be adaptable,” Thunderbirds head coach Tania Obst said.
“She brings great speed and dynamic movement in our attack end and has built strong connections in our shooting circle.
“She’s a South Australian pathway athlete and we look forward to working with her again.”
Second Heffernan crosses the ditch

Sunshine Coast Lightning have secured the services of goaler Georgia Heffernan for the next two seasons, joining twin sister Kate on Aussie soil.
“I’m really excited to be joining the Lightning for the next two seasons,” she said.

Long-time NSW Swifts midcourter Maddy Proud has announced her retirement after a 16-year career which boasted two premierships and over 150 games.
“I thought when I made the move from Adelaide almost a decade ago that I would come for a few years then move back, but it turned out far better than I could have ever imagined,” Proud said.
“A career in professional sport only lasts for a relatively short period of time. I have been lucky enough to be part of three Grand Final campaigns and tasted success in two of them.
“Even the years when we didn’t win, we still had wonderful moments that I will always treasure. While I may no longer be running out in a Swifts dress, I will always feel part of the wider family, and getting to wear the uniform has been a privilege.
“I want to thank everyone on and off the court who has made this such a special journey for me, as well as my family who have been a constant support.”

NSW Swifts bid farewell to Grace Nweke, Teigan O'Shannassy and Sharni Lambden in a huge mix-up to their 2026 side.

Sunshine Coast Lightning have locked in budding midcourter Ava Black until the end of the 2028 SN season.
The young star on the rise returned to the SSN stage in 2026 following an ACL reconstruction in 2025 and showed glimpses of her potential across her 12 outings this season.
Sunshine Coast head coach Belinda Reynolds spoke to Black's value both on and off the court.
“She has worked incredibly hard to come back from injury and really makes an impact when she steps on court,” she said.

Jamie-Lee Price is officially the first re-signing for the 2027 Super Netball season, signing a two-year contract with Melbourne Mavericks.
The midcourter had one of her best seasons to-date in Mavs colours in 2026 and is a significant signing for the Mavericks who will look to build on their maiden finals series this year.
Price is thrilled to re-sign with the Melbourne-based side.

Head coach Gerard Murphy reiterated the importance of securing Price's signature for another two seasons.
"For Jamie-Lee to commit to the Mavs for the next two years is a huge endorsement of what we're building as a club," he said.
"She's one of the premier players in world netball and will play a vital role in helping us continue to grow and challenge for success."
Langman returns to Sunshine Coast

Former Lightning midcourter Laura Langman will return to her former club, this time in a mentor role to assist with the budding midcourt, leadership group and coaching staff..
She will join the club on a part-time basis from the commencement of pre-season.
“We as an organisation are really excited by having Laura back around the club,” Lightning Owner and Chief Executive, Justin Pascoe said.
“As a player, Laura was renowned for her high work rate and energy levels and off the court, she was the ultimate professional, qualities we know she’ll bring to this role.
“Working closely with the leaders of this group, we hope that Laura will be able to provide the guidance and wisdom to help elevate our club to where we know we can be.”
Anstiss departs Fever
August 7
West Coast Fever has announced midcourter Jess Anstiss will depart the club ahead of the 2027 season.
A widely respected midcourter and leader, Anstiss departs with 149 games under her belt including Fever's maiden premiership in 2022 and three seasons as captain.
"On behalf of everyone at West Coast Fever, I sincerely thank Jess for everything she has given this Club," Fever General Manager Sara Francis-Bayman said.
"While we will miss seeing Jess in green, we are incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed to West Coast Fever and look forward to celebrating the lasting impact she has made on our Club.
"She will always be part of the Green Army, and we wish her every success in whatever comes next."
Former Fever captain Jess Anstiss will depart the club.
Madi Browne signs with Lightning

Former Australian midcourter Madi Browne has signed with Sunshine Coast Lightning for 2027, making her assistant coaching debut with the club.
A two-time Liz Ellis Diamond, Browne will add great value to the Lightning program, especially through the midcourt.
“I’m really excited to be jumping into the coaching world at the elite level and especially with a team such as the Lightning,” Browne said.
“I was playing in the competition when the Lightning came in and won back-to-back premierships, so I know firsthand how successfully this program has been.
“To now be part of establishing a new era of success alongside Belinda and the rest of the high-performance team is something I’m looking forward to.”
Head coach Belinda Reynolds is positive for the club’s future and how Browne’s expertise can add to the program in 2027.
“We believe Madi will help to further elevate this group into the top tier of Super Netball teams and as someone who has been part of many successful programs, we believe Madi will be a great fit into our high-performance staff,” she said.
Lightning retains Reynolds

Sunshine Coast Lightning head coach Belinda Reynolds has signed a one-year contract extension.
Lightning CEO and Owner Justin Pascoe said securing Reynolds was a key priority.
“Having Belinda recommit to Sunshine Coast Lightning is a significant outcome, not only for our club but for our community,” Pascoe said.
“We have complete confidence in Belinda as our head coach, and just as importantly, we are committed to ensuring she has the right people, resources and high-performance environment around her to be successful.
“As owners, we recognise that success is never the responsibility of one person. It’s our role to provide our Head Coach with the support, capability and infrastructure needed to give our athletes every opportunity to perform at their best.”
Despite challenges over the past few seasons Reynolds is confident success will return to the Sunshine Coast.
“I feel very privileged to have coached our team for the last four seasons and appreciate the opportunity from the Club to lead this great group until the end of the 2027 season,” Reynolds said.
“Our playing group is motivated to bring success back to the Sunshine Coast and I’m just as excited to see what we can achieve next season, as when I first arrived.”
Harten joins Nexhip

Jo Harten MBE has been appointed NSW Swifts assistant coach for 2027, with one season under her belt following her SSN retirement at the end of 2025.
The former England Roses goal shooter boasts experience as the Technical Coach for the Roses since 2023 and is looking forward to returning to the Swifts for another year.
"I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of an ambitious team at the Swifts, with high performance values at the core of what we do," Harten said.
“I have loved working with the squad both in training and on game day throughout 2026, and I’m excited to build on these connections as we challenge ourselves to strive for greatness in 2027 and beyond.”
Newly appointed head coach Dylan Nexhip says Harten’s experience will add an additional layer to the Swifts’ performance in 2027 and beyond.
“Her understanding of the game, her ability to connect with athletes and her absolute commitment to bringing the best out of people makes her an outstanding addition to our coaching group,” he said.
"Together we will create an environment where our athletes are challenged every single day, where high effort is the standard and where respect sits at the heart of everything we do.”
Nexhip to take next step

NSW Swifts have elevated Dylan Nexhip to head coach for 2027 after two seasons as assistant coach under outgoing coach Briony Akle.
The former Australian Kelpies captain says he is honoured by the appointment and looking forward to starting a new chapter at the Swifts.
“It is an incredible honour to be appointed Head Coach of the NSW Swifts,” Nexhip said.
“This Club has a rich history of incredible coaches and athletes, a strong culture and an unwavering commitment to excellence. I am grateful for the opportunity and excited by what we can achieve together.
“We will continue to invest in our people, challenge ourselves to think differently and create an environment where every individual can contribute to our success.”
Stewart and Wright to lead

GIANTS head coach Nerida Stewart and assistant coach Jen Wright signed a one-year contract extension which will remain in place with the new SEG club ownership from 2027.
“I’ve always believed that strong programs are built on genuine partnerships, and that’s exactly what Jen and I have developed,” Stewart said.
“There’s something special within this program, and I’m really excited to continue building that alongside Jen.”
