The Vixens eleventh player will miss out on Grand Final Day with midcourter Hannah Mundy returning to the side for the big match recovering from a stress-related foot injury.
“We knew Hannah’s recovery would extend towards the end of the season, but were hopeful we’d see her out on court again and we’re thrilled to welcome her back,” said Vixens General Manager, High Performance & Pathways Sharelle McMahon.
“It’s testament to our medical team’s skill and expertise, and to Hannah’s professionalism and diligence throughout her rehab process, that she’ll be out there on Saturday night.”
Emily Mannix – Pregnancy
Mannix welcomed her first child earlier this year. She’s currently working with the Vixens on her return but for now Maggie Caris has been named as her temporary replacement.
