The Commonwealth Games are set to begin this week, here's everything you need to know about the tournament as the world's best go head-to-head in Glasgow.
WHEN ARE THE DIAMONDS PLAYING?
Netball at the Commonwealth Games will begin on Saturday 25 July. To check out what time the Diamonds are playing head to the Glasgow 2026 website here where times are displayed in your time as well as local time.
HOW DOES THE TOURNAMENT WORK?
Teams have been split into two pools for the initial stage of the tournament with Australia in Pool A.
Each pool will compete amongst each other with the top two from each pool to then move into Semi Final matches while the remaining teams will make up the Classification Games (6-12th).
The winners of each Semi Final will meet to contend for a gold medal on the last day of competition on Sunday 2 August while the two remaining teams will compete for bronze earlier in the day.
WHO WILL AUSTRALIA FACE IN POOL A?
Australia will go head-to-head with Tonga, England, Malawi, South Africa and Northern Ireland throughout the pool stage of the competition.
WHO IS IN POOL B?
Pool B is made up of New Zealand, Scotland, Wales, Uganda, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
WHERE CAN I WATCH THE GAMES?
Australian fans can tune into the Commonwealth Games live and free on the Seven Network and 7Plus. Full match replays will also be available on 7Plus.
WHEN DID THE DIAMONDS LAST WIN GOLD?
The Aussie Diamonds are the reigning Commonwealth Games gold medalists having defeated Jamaica in the final of the 2022 Games.
In total, Australia has won four gold medals for netball at the Commonwealth Games with first place finishes in 1998, 2002, 2014 and 2022.
Australia has won three silver medals for netball at the Commonwealth Games with second place finishes in 2006, 2010 and 2018.
