The partnership with Westfield spans all levels of the game, with Westfield an Official Partner of Netball Australia, an Associate Partner of Suncorp Super Netball and the Origin Australian Diamonds, and a Major Partner of Woolworths NetSetGO.
Community sport, including netball is highly valued within local communities. With its extraordinary participant numbers as well as its wider network including administrators, umpires, coaches, parents and guardians, netball connects so many people.
Netball Australia interim CEO Stacey West welcomed the announcement.
“Westfield has made a significant contribution to Netball Australia’s growth over the past two years, and we are thrilled to continue this partnership,” West said.
“To have Westfield return for a further two years is an endorsement of the sport’s strength and growth. We look forward to working with Westfield to continue to grow the sport of netball in Australia from Woolworths NetSetGO through to the Suncorp Super Netball League and our Origin Australian Diamonds.”
Westfield General Manager Marketing and Community, Jacqui Waine said: “We’re proud to be extending our partnership with Netball Australia to further strengthen our connection between our Westfield destinations and local communities, which includes netball players, fans and their families.
“Our strategic focus is to continue to create reasons for customers to visit and spend their time in our destinations, whether that’s visiting for team celebrations and events or for lunch before or after a game.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating Netball in our Westfield destinations and on the sidelines over the next two years.”
