The Australian Diamonds have made one change to their team leading into the third test of the Constellation Cup.
Defender Matilda Garrett is unavailable due to concussion, while Jamie-Lee Price remains unavailable with a calf injury. The Diamonds will welcome shooter Cara Koenen back into the game day 12.
While acknowledging the impact of player availability on the makeup of her group, Diamonds head coach Stacey Marinkovich noted that her first priority was supporting Garrett and Price.
“Selection is about working with what’s available to you at the time. This isn’t the balance we’d normally go with, but we’ll adapt and get on with it.
“With some of our key players unavailable, and where different athletes are at with their training loads and court readiness at this stage of the year, it hasn't left us much room to move.
“Things happen in elite sport, and we have to deal with what’s in front of us. We back these 12 to go out there and play our brand of netball.
“Tilly and Jamie are in great hands with our medical team. We’ll keep supporting them and look forward to welcoming them back on court when the time comes.”
