The location for this year’s Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final has been confirmed, with Melbourne to host in partnership with Visit Victoria.
The 2026 Suncorp Super Netball season decider will be played at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Saturday 4 July.
The 2025 Suncorp Super Netball season had a total attendance of 386,455 - the biggest in league history and the most attended women's sport league in Australia for the second-year running.
Last year’s Grand Final in Melbourne attracted a record crowd of more than 15,000 fans and generated almost $5.4 million for the Victorian economy – turning more than 4,000 interstate supporters into sightseers who connected with local businesses, hotels and hospitality venues. It was also the most watched SSN match on the Foxtel Group platform. This year’s season decider will be played at John Cain Arena due to venue availability.
The world’s best netball league returns in just under a month, before the Diamonds set their sights on the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games from July 23 to August 2.
Off the court, Visit Victoria’s partnership with Netball Australia is also continuing to reap rewards, with Diamonds superstars Jo Weston, Sophie Garbin and Kate Moloney spearheading a tourism push to help drive more visitors to Victoria.
The ‘Every bit different’ campaign playfully uses netball terms together with the players at iconic experiences – including the ‘Tactical Timeout Bit’, promoting the state’s spa and wellbeing offering at About Time Bathhouse in Torquay, and the ‘Perfect Shot Bit’, showcasing world-class coffee at Good Measure in Carlton.
The advertising has been rolled out across television, digital media and billboards across Australia and New Zealand and has reached more than 5 million people.
Fans unable to secure a ticket will be able catch the game on Foxtel, Kayo and Binge. With unrivalled access and expert commentary, sports lovers will not want to miss a moment.
