Director Mo’onia Gerrard OAM has advised the Board of her resignation as she focuses on family.
Following an unbelievable career spanning over 14 seasons, Mo’onia continued her lifelong commitment to the sport and was appointed to the Netball Australia Board in March 2023 as the Athlete Director.
Mo’onia has shared her valuable knowledge, deep insights and unparalleled athlete experience to help shape the direction of the sport.
“There are not many people who are more committed to our game, our communities, and the wellbeing of our athletes than Mo’onia,” said Netball Australia Chair Liz Ellis AO.
“On behalf of Netball Australia, I wish Mo’onia and her family all the very best as they pursue new adventures, and I offer her our very heartfelt thanks for the incredible contribution she has made to Netball in Australia.”
