Maddy Proud

Having debuted in the ANZ Championship for the Adelaide Thunderbirds, Maddy made the move to NSW and the Swifts for the inaugural season of Suncorp Super Netball and debuted against the Giants in Round 1, 2017.  Since then she has become a Swifts Captain, Centurion and Australian Diamond. She has two Swifts Premierships to her name so far, 2019 & 2021. She took a year out of the game in 2025 to welcome her first child, but is back on deck for 2026
