After joining the Magpies in 2019, the two-time Lightning premiership player has developed into one of the world's top attackers.​

A serious knee injury in 2020 cast a shadow over her future but Browne recovered well to once more be a regular in the top statistics. Further shadows were cast over Browne's career after the 2023 season when she seemingly retired from the game, before a last minute offer saw her move west to join the Fever.​
