Isabelle Shearer

Rising star Isabelle Shearer has quickly established herself as a key part of the Firebirds’ defensive unit, standing tall at 190cm and combining reach with athleticism to trouble the league’s best attackers. 

The Rockhampton product became Firebird No.110 after debuting in 2024 and was rewarded with a new deal for 2025, where she was an ever-present across the season. 

A Queensland pathways product, she represented the state at 19U level and featured for the Queensland Sapphires before joining the Firebirds as a training partner in 2023.
