April Brandley

Getting past April Brandley is not easy. She’s one of the fiercest defenders in world netball.

Standing 185cm with a monstrous vertical leap, she’s played (and beaten) some of the game’s most fearsome goalers. Brandley is originally from Victoria, but got her professional start in New South Wales. She made her Diamonds debut in 2013, returning in 2016 for a tour of England. Since 2017, She’s played Suncorp Super Netball for the Collingwood Magpies and GIANTS Netball before retiring in 2023.
