10. Kate Moloney
There’s no denying it, Kate Moloney is the heartbeat of the Vixens.
The inspirational captain was a driving force behind the team’s 2025 premiership campaign, rallying her side through the highs and lows with her trademark passion.
Following the heartbreak of 2024, she was never going to die wondering and the Preliminary Final delivered her best performance of the season.
There’s nothing scarier than Moloney with her back against the wall and the odds stacked against her, as the Swifts learned.
With the Vixens down by 10 goals during the third quarter she found another gear to move into, celebrating every little win to flip momentum the Vixens’ way.
She finished the do-or-die clash with 121 Net Points, 35 feeds, 24 goal assists and two intercepts.
Moloney was instrumental against the Swifts.
The performance part of her stellar season total of 1253 Net Points, 414 feeds, 209 goal assists and eight intercepts.
9. Helen Housby
The queen of the Suncorp Super Shot was at it again in 2025.
Hosuby led the league with a whopping 65 Super Shots from 105 attempts.
With Swifts recruit Grace Nweke in the goal circle with her, Housby had plenty of space to work her magic and for most of the season the duo looked unstoppable.
Housby finished the year with 1170 Net Points, 353 feeds, 293 goal assists, nine deflections and three gains.
The 30-year-olds' game of the season was Round 7 against the Lightning.
Housby was everywhere, collecting 115 Net Points, 26 feeds, 21 goal assists, 16 goals, four Super Shots and one deflection.
8. Amy Sligar
An unsung hero of the GIANTS, Amy Sligar’s 2025 season was impressive.
With 40 deflections and 27 gains she was among the league’s best defensive midcourters, finishing third in the league for intercepts with 22.
Sligar dominated in defence this season.By season’s end Sligar also had 130 centre pass receives, 51 feeds and 21 goal assists to her name.
With the ability to shut down any opponent and turn a game on its head, 2025 was a breakout for Sligar.
The young gun’s hard work catching the eye of the Origin Diamonds selectors who invited her to Diamonds camp giving her the opportunity to learn from the nation’s best.
Her standout performance for the year was against the Lightning in Round 10.
Sligar was prolific, with 49 minutes on the court she collected four gains, four deflections and three intercepts putting pressure on Lightning’s Liz Watson and Leesa Mi Mi.
7. Shimona Jok
Jok was standing on business in 2025, she scored 635 goals at 95 per cent accuracy making her one of the most lethal goalers in the league.
Her one-point game was exemplary, but she was also happy to try her hand from a longer range when needed.
Jok delivered her signature fire and swagger to every match, her presence lifting the Mavericks with vocal leadership and accurate execution.
Jok was one of the most accurate goalers in the league this season.
She ended the season with 937 Net Points with her best performance being in Round 6 against the Firebirds.
During the clash she scored 61 goals at 100 per cent accuracy, the Firebirds defenders unable to put a dent in her day.
6. Liz Watson
Watson continues to be one of the league's most elite playmakers.
She was the engine room powering the Lightning finishing first in the league for feeds (578), third for goal assists (286) and fifth for centre pass receives (266) with a total Net Points of 1049.
Her best performance of the year was undoubtedly Round 9 against the Firebirds.
The 31-year-old was unstoppable collecting 124 Net Points, 49 feeds, 27 goal assists and three deflections.
Her leadership in the midcourt lifted the side throughout the match while she had Imogen Allison breathing down her neck at every turn.
