What is the PacificAus Sports Netball Series?
Proudly supported by the Australian Government through the PacificAus Sports program, the series involves national Pacific teams competing with other invitees in a unique tournament that builds international relationships through netball.
The series provides Pacific teams with high-level competition and exposure to a diverse range of play, improving the standard of netball globally.
While successful in showcasing the skills, talents and athleticism of netballers from the Pacific, Australia, and beyond, the series also celebrates building connections through sport.
In bringing different netball nations together, the PacificAus Sports Netball Series provides athletes with a platform in which they can represent their culture and communities with pride.
What can I expect from the tournament?
Expect the unexpected!
The PacificAus Sports Netball Series has been elevating nonstop over the past few years with Pacific teams like the PNG Pepes, Samoa Tifa Moana, Fiji Pearls, and Tonga Tala climbing the world rankings, and gaining a variety of international experience.
The 2024 series saw matches down to the wire, as Nissan Arena filled with excitement and energy from supporters across Queensland. With a fresh new mix of athletes, coaches, and teams, along with returning crowd favourites, this event is one you won’t want to miss.
When is the PacificAus Sports Netball Series?
The series will take place between February 17 – 22, 2025.
Where is the PacificAus Sports Netball Series being held?
The series will be held at Nissan Arena, Brisbane (Turrbal and Yuggera Country).
Which teams are competing?
- Australian First Nations Black Swans*
- Fiji Pearls
- Papua New Guinea (PNG) Pepes
- Samoa Tifa Moana
- Scottish Thistles
- Tonga Tala
*As a domestic invitee, and non-World Netball sanctioned team, the Australian First Nations Black Swans are not eligible to receive World Netball ranking points at the PacificAus Sports Netball Series. The Black Swans cannot compete in medal matches and will finish the tournament in sixth place. The Black Swans provides equitable and accelerated opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander netballers.

Do I need a ticket to attend?
This event is free to attend, you do not need a ticket for entry.
Bring along your friends and family to Nissan Arena and support the different nations attending.
Bags and flags are permitted, but please leave flag poles at home.
