A dual-Netball World Cup gold medallist, Erin Bell was a member of the Australian Diamonds’ successful Netball World Cup campaigns in 2011 and 2015.
Bell made her international debut against Samoa in the opening game of the 2011 World Cup in Singapore.
After missing selection in the Australian team for the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, the NSW-native was recalled in the Diamonds team for Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015, her first international selection since 2013.
Bell recorded a career high for the most goals scored in a Diamonds game, shooting 33 goals at 94 per cent accuracy during the Diamonds’ victory over South Africa in the Netball World Cup in Sydney.
The goal attack is recognised as one of the best long-range shooters in the ANZ Championship, currently playing for the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
Bell, who became the first player in the trans-Tasman competition to win three premierships, started her career at the NSW Swifts before moving to the Thunderbirds in 2010 and made her 100th national league appearance during the 2015 ANZ Championship season.
