After a couple of years on the fringe of the Diamonds, Caldwell finally made her international debut at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Her first Test cap came against Wales and she converted her first shot at goal in the green and gold, finishing the match with 12 goals. The shooter’s selection was just reward for her stunning 2014 ANZ Championship campaign for the Melbourne Vixens where she shot a career-high 347 goals and was named Player of the Match in their Grand Final triumph. Capable of playing at either goal attack or shooter, her fitness and accuracy under the ring are superb. Speed, tenacity and defensive pressure are all major features of her game. She also represented the Australian FAST5 Flyers in 2013. Caldwell suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the 2016 pre-season, but will make her return to the game in 2017.
