The star midcourter was part of Australia’s 2011 Netball World Cup team.
She was acting captain for Australia’s two-Test series against England last year when Geitz was out injured. Green made her international debut against New Zealand in Christchurch in 2008 and is closing in on the top 10 most capped Australian players of all-time. Green has been a stalwart of the NSW Swifts in the ANZ Championship, serving as co-captain for two years with Mo’onia Gerrard and then as sole captain the past two years.
In 2014 she was joint winner of the ANZ Championship Most Valuable Player award and she has been named in the Foxtel All-Star Team the past two years – the first at centre and at wing attack in 2015.
In 2017, Green ruptured her ACL.
Green is a physically strong and athletic midcourter who won’t back off in any pressure situation. She is a dynamic player renowned for her explosive power, quick hands and her fierce, competitive nature.
