Sharni Layton, Kim Ravaillion, Madi Robinson, Caitlin Thwaites and April Brandley will all pull on the black and white in 2017. Capped Diamond Ash Brazill will also represent the Magpies.
Both Layton and Thwaites have made the return to their home state, Layton for the first time since 2008 and Thwaites since 2010.
“We have enormous respect for everyone in netball, for the traditions of this great sport and in particular for the players. These women are amazing, elite athletes and it is a privilege to have them at our club,” Collingwood President Eddie McGuire said.
“Girls around Australia can now grow up dreaming of a career in netball, of one day playing for the Collingwood Magpies and representing the Australian Diamonds.”

Laura Geitz and Clare McMeniman have revealed they will not be playing in the national netball league in 2017, with McMeniman retiring from domestic netball and Geitz taking a break with the impending birth of her first child.
