A grand final rematch between the Southern Force and NNSW Waratahs headlines Week 4 of the 2013 Australian Netball League (ANL) this weekend at Netball SA Stadium in Adelaide.

After dropping their first four games to the Waratahs since the competition’s inception in 2008, the Force made amends to beat the Waratahs twice last season, including a 50-36 victory in the grand final to claim their maiden premiership.

Both the Force and Waratahs have won just once this weekend but the two sides will be eyeing off victories and a charge towards finals when they take on the winless Tassie Spirit and Canberra Darters.

The fourth round of ANL will see the first mid-week games when the Force host the AIS in Adelaide while the Waratahs take on the Blues in the New South Wales derby at the Anne Clarke Centre in Sydney.

The AIS will be out to avenge their 45-40 loss to the Force in last year’s semi-final, their first loss to the South Australians in five outings.

The sixth NSW derby will see the Waratahs out to make it a fifth consecutive victory over their closest rivals. The Blues claimed the points with a 61-47 victory when the two sides met for the first time in Round 3 2008 but the remaining fixtures have fallen in favour of the Waratahs, including a 44-30 last year.

The QLD Fusion, Western Sting, Victorian Fury, Victorian Flames and Territory Storm have the bye.
