If you purchase a ticket this month to head along and watch Liz Ellis, Sharelle McMahon and Catherine Cox – Australia’s three most capped international players – on stage together in `The Centurions’ show, you’ll go into a draw to win one of five backstage double passes.
Tickets are still available to `The Centurions’ at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Monday, August 10.
The two-and-a-half show will give the audience a greater insight into the lives and careers of Australia’s three most-capped players in Ellis (122 Tests), McMahon (118 Tests) and Cox (108 Tests).
`The Centurions’ organiser Sue Gaudion said the five double-pass winners would be announced in early July.
“It’s a once-in-a lifetime experience to meet three Australian sporting icons and chat with them and hear more stories,” Gaudion said.
“So I encourage anyone who’s thinking about coming along to show, get your tickets in the month of June and put yourself in the running to win one of these backstage passes.
“I can assure you, these are three very funny, down-to-earth ladies that you would want to meet and you won’t be disappointed.”
`The Centurions’ show will give Ellis, McMahon and Cox a chance to share stories with the audience both individually and collectively. Gaudion will also conduct question and answer sessions with all three about their lives and careers.
There will be unseen footage and images and plenty of interaction with the audience.
“A lot of the stories have never been told before so it’s a reveal all show,” Gauidon promised.
“I know that Liz can’t wait to get her moment and try and pull the limelight back to herself – which is what she loves – from Sharelle about the 1999 world championships.”
