The newly revised format will see eight teams compete over seven rounds of competition, with a finals series to take place on the weekend of the 8th and 9th of April in Perth.
The eight teams competing in the 2017 ANL competition include, Canberra GIANTS, Netball NSW Waratahs, QLD Fusion, Southern Force, Territory Storm, Tasmanian Magpies, Victorian Fury and Western Sting.
Two matches will be played each round (as per 2016), with fixture scheduling designed to allow SSN athletes to participate in ANL matches, ensuring that SSN training partners can obtain regular match play during the SSN season.
In 2017, matches will take place in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth; with games to also be held in Alice Springs, the Sunshine Coast and Launceston. 12 games will be held either prior to or directly following a SSN match.
