The New Zealand venues for the new SANZEA series has been announced with the world champions to face South Africa at Auckland’s Vector Arena as part of a double header on Saturday, 27 August. The Silver Ferns will take on England in the other match.
It will be Australia’s first match since its 3-0 clean sweep of January’s Test Series in England.
SANZEA is a new partnership between four of international netball’s strongest nations Australia, New Zealand, England and South Africa.
An international series between the four countries will be contested annually with Australia and New Zealand hosting the inaugural event.
Netball Australia can confirm the dates for the matches being played in Australia is August 31 and September 4 with an announcement on venues expected shortly.
September 4 will also be a double header featuring Australia taking on the Silver Ferns in their first meeting since last year’s Constellation Cup.
Tickets for the inaugural International Netball Super Series will go on sale in the coming months, with Netball Australia to confirm details in due course.
