Three Australian legends gather to put on a show

The Centurions Instagram TICKET INFOBetween them Liz Ellis, Sharelle McMahon and Catherine Cox have played more than 300 Tests – and probably have just as many stories to tell about each other from their time as Australian Diamonds.

The legendary trio are coming together on stage to share those stories – and countless more – during a one-off show in Sydney in August.

Being held at the Enmore Theatre on Monday, August 10, the two-and-a-half show will give the audience a greater insight into the lives and careers of Australia’s three most-capped players in Ellis (122 Tests), McMahon (118 Tests) and Cox (108 Tests).Australian Diamonds V Silver Ferns

Aside from being outstanding netballers and close friends, Ellis, Cox and McMahon are fantastic characters and their personalities off the court make this a `must-watch’ event.

Australia v Great Britain Netball Test`The Centurions’ is the brainchild of well-known TV commentator and netball identity Sue Gaudion, who said all three “jumped” at the opportunity to be involved.

“These three have become household names in female sport in Australia. While this will be a hit with the netball market, I believe this will open the eyes of many others,” Gaudion said.

“They are three really different personalities but they all enjoy having a good laugh at each other and telling stories.

“When I rang each of the girls and sold the idea to them, they were all excited to be part of it. Within 10 seconds Liz said `I’m in’.”

`The Centurions’ show will give Ellis, McMahon and Cox a chance to share stories with the audience both individually and collectively. There will be unseen footage and images and plenty of interaction with the audience – plus Gaudion promises a special appearance from another famous former Australian player.

“It will be really good fun. You will come out of the end feeling pumped,” Gaudion declared.
