Sydney will deliver `best ever’ Netball World Cup

_MCA2016LiNetball Australia CEO Kate Palmer is confident this year’s Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015 will live up to the expectations of being the best ever in the event’s history.

It’s only 200 days until the Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015 gets underway with the Australian Diamonds eyeing off a hat-trick of world titles.

It’s the first time in 24 years that Australia has hosted the Netball World Cup and Palmer said the Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015 team, led by chief executive Marne Fechner, is on track to deliver a fantastic experience for all netball fans in August.

“We’ve got enormous faith as have the International Netball Federation,” Palmer said.

“I know that they will exceed ours and their expectations. They’ve built a really capable team and they know what they’re doing.”

The Diamonds squad travels to Sydney next week for a training camp, a crucial part of the team’s preparations, and captain Laura Geitz said it will be a huge thrill to play in a Netball World Cup on home soil.

“It’s the pinnacle for us really,” Geitz told Channel 10. “Every girl wants to play a Netball World Cup on their home court and hopefully we can go back-to-back.”
