Liz Watson

Widely regarded as one of the best midcourters in the world, Diamonds captain Liz Watson brings power, creativity and leadership to this deep Australian midcourt.

Liz made her Australian Diamonds debut in 2016 when she stepped onto the court against England in Liverpool. In 2017, she won the inaugural Suncorp Super Netball Young Star Award for her work with the Melbourne Vixens. In 2018 and again in 2022 she was awarded Australian netball’s most prestigious award, the Liz Ellis Diamond, for her outstanding efforts running the midcourt both domestically and internationally.
