Local young gun Annika Lee-Jones joins West Coast Fever as one of the most highly sought after defenders in the State. She was impressive at this year’s 20U National Netball Championships in Tasmania, and was named in the 20U National Squad. Lee-Jones was named in the the Australian team for the Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana this year.
Standing at 197cm tall, Lee-Jones enters the Fever realm as the tallest player on the 2017 roster, and spent time at the Tall Player Specialist Camp in Canberra earlier this year. She has formed an integral part of the Western Sting’s campaigns in recent years, and has been a standout for the Perth Lions in the Smarter than Smoking West Australian Netball League. She was named Most Valuable Player in the 2015 Premiership winning Perth Lions side.
