The deal returns the sport to free-to-air television and reignites a long standing history between Network Ten and netball.
It also reflects Fox Sport’s ongoing commitment to the sport with this historic partnership the first time Australia’s leading sports broadcaster will televise the sport’s pinnacle event the Netball World Cup.
The broadcast partnership represents Fox Sports’ and Network Ten’s support of the growth of netball and the promotion of women’s sport.
In a win for netball fans around the country, Fox Sports will cover all Netball World Cup games and Network Ten will broadcast the Australian Diamonds’ matches on TEN or ONE.
Australia’s pool match against New Zealand, their possible semi-final clash and potential gold medal match to be shown live on TEN.
For NWC2015 Chief Executive Marne Fechner, the return to Network Ten represents a defining moment.
“We are thrilled to have the Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015 shown on Fox Sports and Network Ten,” Fechner said.

FOX SPORTS CEO Patrick Delany said the Netball World Cup will be an “incredibly exciting tournament”.
“Netball fans will see every Diamonds match live in High Definition as our girls pursue their third consecutive world title and first on home soil since 1991,” Delany said.
“In addition, FOX SPORTS will broadcast all finals matches including the Final, plus all of the other key matches in the tournament.
Network Ten Head of Sport David Barham said the channel is pleased to that Australian fans can watch all the action on free-to-air television.
“This deal further demonstrates Network Ten’s commitment to live sport,” Barham said.
“The Diamonds are the defending World Champions and have had a fantastic year against some tough competition. The Netball World Cup will make for great television viewing.”
The Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015 will be played between August 7-16.
