The Australian Diamonds have finalised the international calendar for 2015 with confirmation that Melbourne’s Hisense Arena will host the third Test of the Constellation Cup against the New Zealand Silver Ferns on Sunday 25 October.

The international fixture in Melbourne will be the Diamonds’ first of two Test matches on home soil following Australia’s title defence at next month’s Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015, from Friday 7 August.

The 2015 Constellation Cup series will kick off with two Tests in New Zealand, beginning at Horncastle Arena in Christchurch (Tuesday 20 October) followed by the second Test at Vector Arena, Auckland (Thursday 22 October).

The Diamonds, defending Constellation Cup holders, will wrap up the international season with a fourth and final Test at Perth Arena, Perth, on Friday 30 October.

“There’s no better rivalry in international netball than the Constellation Cup between the Diamonds and Silver Ferns so we’re excited to be bringing the world’s best netballers to Melbourne,” Australian Diamonds coach Lisa Alexander said.

Australia has won three of the four Constellation Cup Tests against the Silver Ferns played in Melbourne since the trophy was introduced in 2010.

Tickets for the Melbourne and Perth Tests will go on sale in August following Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2014. Fans are encouraged to sign up to Netball Australia’s Diamonds Reserve for the latest news and information on ticket sales. Sign up at www.netball.com.au.
