Confident Girls case study: Netball ACT

ACT Case study

Netball ACT helped give the gift of netball to deaf and hard of hearing children who enjoyed an ANZ NetSetGO clinic.

The clinic was a part of Deaf Sports Day at the ACT Netball Stadium, with many of the children experiencing netball for the first time.

Coaches were briefed and educated on how to best teach the children the basic skills of netball through the NetSetGO program, helping children to score goals in a safe, enjoyable and fun netball environment.

The program was enjoyed by many, showing that being deaf is no barrier in netball.

Confident Girls is about giving those who can least afford it, the chance to play netball too. Donate to #giveagirlnetball
